education
Our Young Theaterworks (YT) program is currently celebrating 18+ years of serving highest-risk youth in Greater Los Angeles schools, primarily in East L.A. and Pasadena Continuation/Options high schools. The company’s productions inform and inspire our successful YT program which improves students literacy practice, communication, and collaboration skills. We believe in the power of arts to connect youth to local and community histories.
Collaboration
In partnership with performing arts and cultural centers, community-based arts organizations, and educational institutions, we have worked with many of the region’s leading performing, media, and visual artists to explore the human spiritual condition and to unearth and illuminate cultural histories of the Southwest and Latin America through our original theaterworks.

Since its inception our company's innovative artistic work has been built in a collaborative process which represents a diversity of voices from Greater Los Angeles. Our critically acclaimed productions explore notions of cultural identity and authenticity, new historical perspectives, and the human condition through creative and experimental uses of music, media, and other artistic mediums within the theatrical form.
