Building Futures Through the Arts: Celebrating Young Theaterworks 25th Anniversary!

Enjoy HomeState tacos and fine wines, while celebrating and supporting Young Theaterworks which serves low-income, highest-risk, educationally underrepresented, and/or underserved youth in L.A.- and Pasadena-area public high schools, a majority of whom are Latino. The fundraiser features The Art of Dreaming: a landscape of L.A. voices, a performance featuring teaching artists from the Young Theaterworks program, followed by a reception and silent auction.

The event will raise critical funds for socially engaged, in-school theater residencies that provide youth with project-based transformative academic and creative experiences. Young Theaterworks strengthens literacy, collaboration, and communication skills; ensures equitable access to creative learning spaces; and cultivates the creative, artistic, and leadership skills students need to thrive academically, professionally, and civically.
